I saw a video of a procession of Shiites marching in the streets, thousands of Afghani beat each other on the head razor sharp swords after bleeding.

There were even some mothers do the same for their children (including some babies of mothers who died of blood loss and are not interested). Is this a cultural aberration or is there something that could be misinterpreted in the Koran that promote?
